Chantecaille’s 25th Anniversary

illustrations for promotional products

Chantecaille commissioned a series of botanical and wildlife illustrations to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. The animals – a lion, giraffe, zebra, cheetah, African elephant, mustang, turtle, dolphin, coral, bees and butterflies – were inspired by the charities Chantecaille has supported through the sale of its cosmetics and skincare lines. The botanicals were drawn from the natural ingredients used in Chantecaille’s skincare line, celebrating their connection and commitment to the natural world. The illustrations were used on Chantecaille’s website and social media.

Limited Edition Silk Scarf

commissioned by Sarah Flint

Sarah Flint commissioned a silk scarf, inspired by 18th-century British interiors, vibrant botanicals and vintage print patterns. The patterning at Newby Hall was a key reference, as Sarah sought to encapsulate its lush gardens and ornate trims in a design that reinvented the traditional. On the back of the success of the scarf, Sarah Flint asked me to hand-paint ten limited-edition Natalie shoes as part of their annual charity event.

The Pebble Spotter’s Guide

illustrated book for the national trust

The National Trust requested 40 illustrations be made of the pebbles and rocks that can be found along Britain’s shores, which would be collected in a book authored by Clive Mitchell. This whimsical guide made the best-sellers list upon release.

Gold-Foiled Temporary Tattoos

commissioned by paperself

London’s cult temporary tattoo brand, Paperself, commissioned three designs, all themed around bright botanicals and sparkling insects. These designs were featured in Vogue Taiwan, and all three designs went on to become bestsellers in Paperself’s repertoire.

High-Detail House Portraits

private commissions

Clients have commissioned house portraits for a variety of reasons; from sentimental & personal gifts, to branding for large venues and real estate companies.

Hand-Painted Leather Shoes

commissioned by Sarah Flint

On the back of the success of a scarf collaboration, Sarah Flint asked me to hand-paint ten limited-edition Natalie shoes as part of their annual charity event. The designs were inspired by traditional British Arts and Crafts botanicals, which twirled down the sides to meet at the front. A miniature ladybird sits on the right ribbon, and was also painted on the royal blue box.

Levison Wood’s Book Cover

‘arabia’, published by hodder & Stoughton

Levison Wood commissioned a cover illustration for his upcoming book, titled ‘Arabia’. The book detailed the explorer’s thrilling personal journey, following in the footsteps of previous greats like Lawrence of Arabia and Wilfred Thesiger. The commission called for an illustration that both showcased the beauty of the local architecture and landscape, whilst acknowledging the war and tensions still lingering throughout the region.
